Wisconsin has over 40 operating distance education networks. New networks are in all phases of development. WADEN is the Wisconsin Association of Distance Education Networks.

This Web site contains information about each of these networks, including the technologies in use, contact information for network directors and coordinators, WADEN reports, minutes, network maps, and other resources.

A distance education network is defined as an organization of geographically separated locations using interactive telecommunications technologies for the purpose of sharing educational resources.
